Technology companies are all the rage. Not only do they innovate in products and services, but they are increasingly seen as the preferred places to work. Proof of this is the high number of tech companies in the traditional Best Places to workranking by Glassdor for 2016. Of the 50 companies on the list, 21 are technology firms, beginning with the top of the ranking: Airbnb.
Glassdor's annual list is based on surveys carried out with employees, who evaluate the different positive and negative aspects of each of the companies studied. Airbnb has now knocked Google off top spot (the search engine falls to eighth place) in only its first time on the list. The ease of taking maternity/paternity leave, the culture at the company and the talent it contains are a few of the aspects most-highly appreciated by its employees.
