"Entrepreneurial" is the fashionable adjective in the business world. It is the subject of articles, discussions and congresses. Twitter reflects this interest and it is a subject of discussion even in a quiet month like August. Some 2,074 tweets this summer included words such as "entrepreneurs" or "entrepreneurial". Media, individuals, government accounts... 1,465 different users. The links shared by these internauts are a good reflection of what interests users in the business field.

1 – Someone to model oneself on
The subject that grabbed the most attention among users is a success story: that of OTEM 2000. Set up by two Catalans, OTEM 2000 is a start-up that has received a number of international awards for its innovative capacity. Its star product is a smart road surface that generates electricity from the kinetic energy produced by vehicles and people as they pass over it, and with solar energy that it absorbs during the day. The case of OTEM 2000 appeared on August 8 in a TV3 report and was retweeted 77 times.

2 – Learning to do business
The Xarxa Telemàtica Educativa de Catalunya (XTEC) has a specific section of its website reserved for entrepreneurship in primary schools. It is seen as just another skill that pupils should attain and need to "maintain and strengthen during the whole of their lives". The website offers various educational support materials. It also highlights a series of videos in which well-known figures, such as the Gasol brothers or Dr. Valentí Fuster, define the characteristics of a business-minded person: self-confidence, initiative, curiosity,... The XTEC website is the second-most shared with 34 different tweets.

3 – Help to survive
Anyone in business knows that creating a start-up is no bed of roses. Therefore, support and prizes are a key help for surviving. The second-most shared conversation, with 19 different tweets, is about the Línia Emprèn 2015 programme of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The aid is part of the Programa Catalunya Emprèn, which in 2014 helped to set up more than 4,500 companies, according to data from ACCIÓ. Level with this subject is the link to the Fundació Princesa de Girona prizes. The awards seek to recognise those young entrepreneurs that "show a concern for building a fairer world". Participants have to be between 16 and 35, and must present their nomination before November 30, 2015.
